The unit heads to Chicago, Illinois, where two women in two separate incidents in two days were found murdered in their respective home, each woman with a single stab wound in the back - the cause of death - and a red rose placed in each of the victim's mouth. Otherwise, the two women on the surface are vastly different, the first a younger woman living a promiscuous lifestyle, and the second a middle aged wife, albeit one in a troubled marriage. By the time the unit members arrive in the city, a third victim is discovered. Each of the crime scenes had a different calling card each which Lewis is able to determine is associated with a different pop music standard from the 1930s to 1950s. The unit members are also able to determine that each of the victims were night owls, either by nature or by necessity for work. The complicating matter is that each of the women were targeted by the unsub, who the unit members believe was in some sort of romantic relationship with each of the victims... Written by Huggo
